Copyright: Kirklees Model Boat Club 2010-2012 Officer of the days report (Phill Bowker): A lousy day with regard to weather, with high winds and capricious winds at varios stages. The competitors had to put up with drizzle, rain, and even hail during the event. Congratulations to those who took part and stayed true to the course. Fred Senior steered clear of the mayhem at the start of the race and soon gained a healthy lead over the others, which he maintained throughout the race.
