Officer of the days report (Alan Wyatt):
A promising day for sailing with winds gusting from 2 to 5 saw six starters for the event.
After a delay for Harry Sharp to get new batteries (at the request of the other competitors) the start proved very interesting
with lots of gibes and comments due to windshifts.
Once under way Fred Senior got a cracking early lead before havng problems with his mainsail sheeting which gave several
others an advantage and Fred never managed to make up for his delay. Racing still stayed very close between the six with
lots of light hearted chat.
