As you know some boats had to complete four laps because of the length of their hull, but overall despite a couple of collisions the race went ahead quite smoothly and everybody seemed to be very happy with their individual efforts. The day was made more enjoyable with the weather being bright and dry with a moderate breeze ‘S’ Class Placing 1st  5 Points 2nd 4 Points 3rd 3 Points D Potter R Clarkson G Pickering A Wyatt J Stanley H Robinson S Pritchard I Duxbury R Binns 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th ‘S’ Class Placing Officer of the Day’s Report With 13 entries a very good start to the season, fickle winds made for some exciting manoeuvring. Doug Potter once again built up an impressive lead to complete the required 3 laps in about 30 minutes, with John Goodyear in second place a few minutes behind. But Fred your yacht will not go any faster the more you lean over to one side or the other with your transmitter..... Nice to see Vic Robson back in harness 1. Doug Potter. Victoria 2.
